Default Wrangler or Ram? Which is the better autox machine?

This paragraph from Inside Line's review of the all-new 2007 Wrangler Unlimited struck me as especially ridiculous:

Clearly the slalom is no place for a Jeep, but given that we were able to coax a Dodge Ram Megacab dually through the cones at a faster clip, the Wrangler's 54.4-mph run is a little embarrassing.

Can that be true? Is it because the Dodge has a longer wheelbase? Wider track?

If you've ever driven a dually, they do corner pretty decent... I always attributed it to the extra wide rear end...

But that is sad... a Wrangler with that bad of a cornering... I can see the law suits now...

EDIT: Let me clarify... they corner pretty decent for a 7,000+ lb vehicle...

I agree. When no one was looking, I used to drift my dad's crew cab truck around back-road corners (on asphault too). Damned good fun!
