Thread: My name is ________, and I own a Honda

  1. #1

Default My name is ________, and I own a Honda

With all the *$#@! flying around about S. and the new Civic, it's starting to sound as though this forum is headed for a name change

I admit I have one foot in both camps - my wife carts the kids around in an Odyssey.

I also have a Cadillac and a Toyota, and I've found forums for both that I frequent.

Maybe it's time to branch out see other forums

Don't forget about Adam and Nexus. And Iain no longer owns a Miata, either, although he's still in the Mazda camp.

Is this an HOA thead? (Honda Owners Anonymous)

me: "My name is Kamil, and I own a Honda."

    crowd: "Hi, Kamil"

me: "Yes, I have been owning and driving Honda's for years now. After messing up the old Integra, I just couldn't get over it. I was feining for more of the big H. So, within a week, I went and satisified my H hunger with a '06 Acura RSX Type-S in the nice nighthawk black pearl color."

Yeah.. Honestly, I have no problem with Hondas. They make a good commuter car. My Mom has had several Hondas. They've always been reliable. Had to choose the closest option, #2.

I added a 5th choice for those of us (myself included) who have never owned a Honda 4-wheel vehicle. (I've owned 4 Honda motorcycles.)

    Same here!

But I do realize if I need information and technical advice for lets say adjusting the points and Dwell on a 429 Cadillac V8 posting it here at MME or on Miata.net would be a waste of time. So I frequent classic Cadillac forum.... It's easy and fun, give it try!

Plus if you have something ya want to post here we have had a section for it since our inception "OTM Tech and Chat"

I post here because I have friends here...

And I think I can still lend advice/wrenching on Miata's considering my experience with them.

But Mick, honestly, you sound like you're getting irritated at those of us w/o Miata's posting here.

    Edited because I'm brainless today...

brain fart... Mick, Mitch... interchangeable when you've been running on 3 hours of sleep for 2 weeks straight

I get the jabs, Mick's first comment in this thread came out a little stronger than most "jabs" on the forum.

You'd be grumpy all the time too if you had to dress like this...
