Thread: So we bought a new digital camera this weekend

Default So we bought a new digital camera this weekend

A Kodak v610 dual lens unit. It took some great pictures while we were in Portland, OR, and appears to be fairly idiot-proof (thank God).

I will post pics of the Si a little later

I want to see pictures of Portland!

I lived in Portland for a couple of years! Nice place, big trees, & lots of rain!

I need to remove the dust off of my speed reading skills... I swear I read "while we were in Poland."

No it's not. However, I can't publicly share what your nickname is.

Wow that little lens gets up to 380mm... I always find it weird how they do that while mine at 300mm is a foot long.

I had a kodak point and shoot before my dslr and I loved it!

Anyone up for breakfast at the Allgood Cafe, followed by a photoshoot in Deep Ellum on Saturday, 10/29?

I've been very impressed with the optical zoom on this thing. Plus it's 6.1 megapixel, which is as good as a rank amateur will ever need. For $350ish and change it's a very complete package.
