    Default Sammm's rear deck refresh

    Sammm-

I just saw the pictures of your rear deck on your cardomain site... Very impressive work. I must have had the "in one ear and out the other" action going on when you were talking about needing a rain rail...

Thanks tailchaser! The hardest part was getting some of those rusted bolts extracted. Here's the link for those of you interested.

Sammm: in your site, you said the style bar and cheapie stb stopped rattles and stiffened up the car... Does the style bar stiffen up the car as well, or is that just the stb helping with that??? Did you do these at the same time or separately? I would like to do the stb if that helps much...

Hi bigDstars ...the style bar is basically a cockpit brace and that seemed to stiffen the car up more than the STB bar. The STB bar helped to eliminate most front cowl shake/shudder I was feeling. I think both were/are good additions in their own right. HTH
