See ya there.
I'm going. Anyone else for one last run at the MineralRing this year?

You can sign up at DLB Racing.
Same type of event as S2K. 8 runs, 4 in the morning and 4 in the afternoon. Courses are generally long and fast, but not as technical as S2K courses. The last event had a 4th gear straight and 70 mph sweepers.
Miatas will fall into one of 3 classes. X for naturally aspirated Miatas on street tires, Y for N/A Miatas on race tires or FI Miatas on street tires, or Z for FI Miatas on race tires (good luck playing with Jim and his EVO).
It would be nice to see some more Miatas out there except me and jrj512.

As an added bonus, I do not plan to bring my lunch to this race, so if you come, then you can also win a chance to dine with me.
Prizes will be awarded through a raffle. Some restrictions apply.
Onething, if you like the S2K events, try the BMW event. It will make a fun double-header weekend if you can work both into your schedule. You have to pre-register, though.
I'll be there - in a MINI, though. In fact, I need to fix the generator this week, or we won't have any timing lights!

Pretty fun event. I got abused by higher horsepower cars again. My Hoosiers just weren't getting the job done and got worse as the day went on. The rear end of the car was all over the place (just watch the video).
I figured out the problem at the end of the day when I was taking the tires off. The rears were corded.
