Keep telling yourself that. Try 23 MPG on my DD with Max torque coming in at a measly 1400 and holding it until 2800 RPM and 305 HP at 2800.

BTW: I used to own a CRX. Loved driving it. I just am at a point in my life where I can afford to be comfortable as well as having power on tap.

Don't get me wrong, the wife's Miata is a blast to drive. And after we get her a new car I will fix the low power problems with it. But I really have to question the auto manufactures tactics of increasing HP #'s simply by installing a higher reving motor.

So drifting back to the original topic, here's a cat on one of the Civic boards who custom painted a set of Gram Lights to make them look like the Time Attacks. He's one brave dude who knew what he was doing...

And you can't argue with the finished result...

Those Gram Lights ain't Time Attack expensive, but at $320 each, they're hardly cheap. Dude's got skills.

Really, cause I get 25 mpg and have 200+ on tap with close to 200 torque at the wheels

    That's dang sexxxy Adam.
As for the painted rims, something tells me they are probably Rotas. Like S. said GL are cheaper than Time Attacks, but I still wouldn't bake them in the same oven that I cook in. Also I'd let the pros handle refinishing some GLs and save the Krylon treatment for the Rotas.

There's also this in that thread, very nice I think....

You might think, but he claims they're GLs, and if you look at this pic you can see the small "g" on one of the spokes.

    That RSX is incredible.

You pasted your link twice. But from the thread, it looks like he took his time and prepped the rims pretty well. Looks sweet, and thety should look even better once he gets the g painted in.

Linkie fixed. It does indeed look incredible. That NBP (same color on the Si) is one nice shade of black. I'm conflicted about how these SSRs would look on my Fiji Blue Si, but they would look bad ass on NBP.

IIRC I think they weigh about 14.4 lbs in 17"x7.5". Very nice and very light. But real Volk Time Attacks have the ultra-rare JDM bling factor going for them too. Real Volk Time Attacks are a very limited special edition TE57. I saw a few sets for sale on H-T months ago, but they were never listed on any US retail websites that I saw.

I was actually considering the SSR's as a possible rim for my car.
Other rims on the list are:
Desmond Regamaster EVOs (They are the manufacturer that makes the Spoon SW388's. They look like Rota Slips)
    Advan RG
    Spoon SW388
    Rota Slipstream
    Volk TE37
    Volk RE30
    Gram Light 57F
    Enkei RPF1
    Advan TCII
    Super Advan RV. 2

The prefered size is 17"x7.5" with a 45-65 offset. The offset depends on the tire size and how much space I have after the Brembo install. The preffered tire size would be 225-235/40-45/17 depending on clerance between fenders and struts.
Of course all of this is dependent on $$$ and availibility.

It appears you and I are shopping in the same general universe. Those TE37s would look incredible on s NBP RSX-S. I'm not so sure about the white Desmonds, but that's just me. Of course, for ultimate JDM bling, those Mugen GPs are still mighty sexy:

At $640 apiece, they ought to be!

What kind of Rays are on that RSX that Adam posted?

Oh I forgot, all wheels would need to be black or gunmetal. I just happed to find the Evos in white as they are a little harder to find in black.

As for the ones in Adam's pic, they are TE37's.
