    BBK Kit

Every other kit out there is over $1k I think. I don't want to do anything to the rears, I'll have a more aggressive pad in the back to compensate for the extra front braking power, but I think that should be good enough. If not, I'll look into an adjustable proportioning valve.

*EDIT* Looks like I was a little off on the weights... Didn't know the stock calipers weighed that much. The stock rotors are a couple lbs lighter than I remember reading. I was close enough though.
This looks like a kit to replace the front rotors and calipers only. You guys do realize that increasing the braking force at only the front wheels isn't really going to net you any performance benefits, right?

Ummm... I am pretty sure he addressed that in the post you quoted.

Wilwood has a proportioning valve as well. The guy that made those kits didn't use it, as he liked the balance the car had afterwards. From what I know, he's pretty competitive in STX...

Like I said (and Titus pointed out), I will get the proportioning valve if I don't like the balance afterwards. This brake kit uses a 12.19" rotor and a 4 piston caliper. The stock rotor is 11.8" (same as the S2k, I could use an aftermarket S2k brake kit if I wanted, I would just need to find a bracket). The rears are 10.2", so the step up to 12" isn't all that bad. It's not like I'm going from a 10" rotor to a 13 or 14" rotor...
