Default 2007 MX-5 Cup running Streets of Houston!

It looks like MX-5 cup is joining CHAMP and ALMS at Streets of Houston on April 21-22. This could be a cool MME road trip!

Yeah a cool MME roadtrip, like the one last year with me and Onething. I am going to put a few dollars down saying that we will be the same people in attendance next year too.

I'm never really taken the time to get into CHAMP, but the MX-5 Cup might just get me down there.

    I'm down.

I did Houston in the same day last year on 4 separate occasions. I'd be willing to do an overnight deal.

So the 700HP cars dont get you excited, but the 170 ones do? J/k it would be great to get anyone down there. We had a blast last year. BTW the key to enjoying any racing is to watch a few and pick a competitive driver that you like. Read some of the interviews and find one with an attitude you like and it will give you much more interest in the races. The cars can only go so far with most people.

    nevermind...wrong race
Wealth, power, and experience are apparently not enough to save us from social influences. Groupthink, as described by I.L.Janis, is the tendency for group members to reach a consensus opinion, even if that decision is downright stupid (Janis 1982).

Plan on three nights minimum if you want to do the whole event.

It aint a drag race. They are going in a circle that has been severely bent.

    OFF

You guys make it too easy

I have been to many races in my life and this was in the top 3.

I'm too lazy to look for the thread from last year, so I'll do a recap:

Incredible machines, awesome racing in all classes, and fantastic access to the track, drivers, crews, cars.

Here's a link to pics from last year

Nobody wants access to that stuff... we want access to the Pit Babes.
