What's the mystery car that was spotted recently in LA? Not that I really care -- it's not a car I would be interested in -- but 200+ Comments on AutoBlog make for some interesting speculation.

My first answer is “Meh. Who cares?”

My second answer is: 2nd generation Honda Element. The comment about the Element being years away from a major makeover doesn’t ring true to me. The current Element has been on the market since ’03, and its platform-mate the CR-V (which was last revised in ‘02) just got a major makeover and a whole new chassis. Honda is in the habit of revising its high volume, bread & butter cars every four to five years, so an all new Element for ’08 or ’09 sounds just about right to me.

The size of the badge on the front is wrong... Looking at the lines of the vehicle my vote is on Kia...

can't read that posts, but I speculate Toyota/Scion...

Looks like jsut the right shape on the badge front, and just boring enough to make me not care one way or the other :)
