Thread: Dyno Day 1.6.07 @ Import Car Center

  1. #1

Default Dyno Day 1.6.07 @ Import Car Center

We are organizing a dyno day for all local groups to be held on January 6th. The event is limited to 20 cars on the dyno, and 30 guests. Free food and drink, etc. There will be prizes given. I'm just trying to see if there is any interest. We have a Dyno Dynamics two wheel dyno, so we can do steady state tuning as well power pulls with A/F. We've got a turbo E36 M3 project car that should be running an Autronic SM4 by then. We're also in the process of building a K20 turbo hatch. I just remodeled the showroom with tons of performance parts, so it will also be an open house as well. Price is $35 for Forum members for the dyno pulls. I'd love to see as many people there as possible.

Where are you located and how many people are already signed up?

Do you give prizes for the lowest HP numbers?

Right now we only have two cars signed up. We have had people saying they are comming out but only two have signed up.
I'm sure we can arrange something for the lowest hp numbers.
We are located in Grapevine @ 1010 W. Northwest Highway, 76051
If there is anything else I can help you with feel free to let me know.

Thomas, what time you planned to be there?

I think I will do my first ever dyno run. Just haven't decided to see how overrated the RX8 is or the health of my 94.

I'll probably plan to be there first thing in the morning. Get there between 8:30 and 9:00. Bring the 94, I'd be interested to benchmark off of a stock car, not that I'm expecting much from the bolt-ons.

My 94 put down ~106hp on Rotary Performance's dyno when it was stock.

    Default time limit

There will be a reasonable time limit on the Dyno, no hogging the Dyno. What that time limit will be I don't know off hand. Everyone will get ample time on the Dyno.
