Is anybody that's showing up first thing in the morning willing to bring a timing light?

So lemme get this straight - it's $55 now instead of $35 for three dyno runs? I might still come out, but I think I'll just spectate in this case. I just don't care that much to get a baseline.

Well for you, it is 35, as you really don't care about the A/F, and then you need to figure in the added gas to get up to Denton. Add to that the fact that you probably wouldn't even go if it was up in Denton.
In addition, I suspect ATS wouldn't be interested in throwing another Dyno day for us after having to cancel the last one they tried to do with us do to lack of interest.

D) People like myself that have done the 1.8 swap which could use a little bit of adjustment to get the perfect mixture. BTW, many people have popped the black lid off of the 1.6 air metre and you can adjust the mixture by moving the wheel inside a few clicks.
I cannot make this dyno day as I will be refing hockey, but I would love to do one soon. I'm very curious as to how much power my 1.8 swap is making, especially after rebuilding the bottom end/seafoam and major tune-up. I can't keep the throttle off the floor now! Runs so smooth and pulls great, love it!

Great to see everybody. It was interesting to see what kind of power we were making. Congrats to jrj512 for "lowest dyno of the day"!

Dang it! No "till" time. It would be 6 before I could get up there. Guess that's what I get for not reading the forum yesterday.

This thread is worthless without numbers!!!
151.2 for me. Two other stock RX-8s dynoed 156.5 and 160.1.
Eddy currents dynamometers (like today's) aren't very comparable to inertia-type (Dynojet) numbers. By comparison, a stock RX-8 would typically dyno around 185-190whp on a Dynojet.
