Cool!
The song in the comercial is - Remind Me isn't it??
So... the other night I was up doing some Bacardi Calculus with the TV on, and one of the GEICO Caveman commercials came on. It's the one where the caveman is in the airport on the moving sidewalk and he glides past the GEICO ad on the wall - "It's so easy... a caveman can do it!" Upon seeing the ad, he stares incredulously at it, then shakes his head in disbelief - high comedy. Well... there's a song playing in the background that sounds kinda like poppy elevator music - don't know if you've noticed, but watch for it next time. Well, that effing song has been stuck in my subconscious since about the fourth time I saw that damn commercial - and I've seen that commercial about 147 times. And let me just tell you right now how freaking genius those ads are - especially that one. I mean, who woulda thunk?!?!?! Downtrodden cavemen demanding an apology for an insurance ad?!??!? Wow... I'd like to know how THAT idea came about. Anyhow, after Googling "Geico caveman song" and sifting through a ton of crap, I finally found out what the hell that song is. And, thanks to the wonders of modern technology (iTunes) and the aforementioned Bacardi, I am now the proud owner of the entire album that contains that one song! AND it's actually pretty damn good if you like that sort of music...
The band is Royksopp and the album is "Melody AM" - anyone who's into techno/Euro-pop/anything unusual, should check it out on iTunes (provided you drink that Kool-Aid)...
Enjoy...

Those caveman commercials annoy the outta me.
There is a much deeper subliminal civil rights message in these GEICO commercials featuring the second-class caveman. Much like the theme of the original "Planet of the Apes", the caveman represents minorities who, weary of their degrading treatment as some sort of ignorant subhuman species, rise up and challenge the establishment.
That video "reminds" me of Visio diagrams and "The Sims" video game.

It only goes to show when people can no longer discriminate on the grounds of race, religion, or sexual orientation, they can improvise and still find someone to hate. - Dave Moulton

The commercials are the procreated product of genius and retarded.
No real point to them, cavemen are in them, no mention of rates, 15% off, pointless banter, humor ensues.
