I know. I wish I could afford a set.. but I don't think I would want to put up with the tuning/costs and stuff just for the sound. It's allllmost worth it though

It's not just about the sound. Check this car out. It's running in the 13's in the quarter mile with a fully stock 99 motor, IRTBs, an AEM ECU and drag radials. He's gone faster since the video:

Hey, if I could afford it I would do it, but I think that in the end getting a Greddy turbo set up, tuned and ready to run would end up being cheaper, and have the potential for more power. Now If they made cheap IRTBs, I'd be on it like stink on doody.

Somebody actually made a setup using GSX-R throttles and a hacked up stock intake manifold. I think you can get the throttles for a little over $100. Throw in a megasquirt and you've got your cheap throttles.

But, your right, the Greddy kit will have more power potential.

I mentioned the same thing to Titus one day but he pointed out the problem of fuel management.

Unless of course that's what the Megasquirt takes care of...
