All you have to do is take the riding course. It's pretty fun and you get to rag on someone else's bikes.

They have quite different personalities.
I highly recommend anyone riding a motorcycle (or thinking about riding a motorcycle) to take the MSF rider course. Well worth your time.

Seriously though, I've been considering it. Save me a lot on gas if I just got a cheapie... I nearly bought a 92 Yamaha R1 for $1500. Not a bad deal as far as I know.
