BTW, the scale measures in .2 lb increments so the wheel is essentially the weight they advertised.
So the wheels from Emilio on the pointy board finally showed up and they look great. The specs and the price were right so I pre-order a set of wheels.
They're 15x8 with a 40mm offset so they fit under the fenders. They are advertised to weigh in at 12.8 lbs. which was verified on my not so accurate bathroom scale. I chose to pay a little extra for the Nickel finish which is a sort of extra glossy dark silver color (it's painted).
Here are a few pics. More to come when the 225 Hankooks are mounted.

Yeah, what Bean said.
Been looking for a set of 15" rims for my car. Those are one of my choices I have been considering.

Those look great! I noticed that they never came in solid black though. Will they ever?
You suck! Very nice looking wheels!
If you don't mind my askin', how much ?
A buck fifty.

Wow, those look great! Can't wait to see them on your car.
Your car is sittin pretty low, are you sure you can use those ?
What's left of a '96 Miata with stock clutch.
My car exceeds my driving ability. That's the only possible explanation.
With the 40mm offset it shouldn't be a problem. I was actually trying to get my order changed to the 36mm offset at the last second, but wasn't in time before the wheels shipped out.
They have done a good bit of test fitment on several cars with different ride heights. They were even able to fit a 245/40/15 Avon R-comp on Emilio's track car.
BTW, my fenders are pretty aggressively rolled in the rear.

Schweeet! Nice find Thomas.
Hmm I like those! Any chance they offer them in 16"? I would like to see yours in person to get an idea of how the finish really looks. Any chance you are coming out tonight?

The tires are mounted! BAM! is a perfectionist.
BTW, I should have gone with the 36mm offset b/c there's ton's of room. Pictures coming soon.
Sorry, this is Thomas posting from BAM!'s computer.
