Thumbs up Mazda the most reliable car in the world!

Found this at MX-5.com. Mazda (all models) are more reliable than Honda and Toyota. Linkie

The study, which was conducted by independent automotive specialists, Warranty Direct, looked at the reliability of more then 450,000 vehicles, from 33 different manufacturers, across both the UK and the USA. The resulting ‘Reliability League Table’ shows the number of failures reported for every 100 vehicles covered by its warranty policies.

Mazda was rated number one with a failure rate of just 8.04 per cent. At the other end of the scale, famous 4x4 brands Jeep and Land Rover scored 44.21 and 46.35 per cent failure rates.

Only bad thing is it doesn't distinguish what kind of failures they are. :-\ 8% and no major problems or 8% and your motor or tranny is busted? and of course that goes for all the other auto-makers as well.
    Blah blah blah!

Short of abuse, I have'nt heard of any cases of Mazda's having any major issues.

A friend of mines Mazda killed itself on Ranger Hill. Now given his past record of vehicle maintenace (or lack there of) its hard to really blame that one on the car.

    Well guys,

If you look at the bottom of the post, it says edited at 4:46 AM.

That was basically to take out my rant with mine and others Honda problems with engines and transmissions, being that this has turned into a Honda/Mazda forum.
