Between the new parking angle and the bottle of Old Car Fuel Injector Cleaner, the car started perfectly after work yesterday. Today, she is going back to the old parking alignment to see if that matters.

    Update:

Parking angle and cleaner did no good. We took it to the mechanic, he drove it as his daily for over a week, and it only acted up once - before he got the gauges attached.

Niece drove it for a couple of weeks with occassional foul ups. Then one day it wouldn't start at work. She called me after she called she called the mechanic. She had to wiggle the key to even get the lights to come on or the windows down.

They replaced the ignition switch and it has run fine ever since (three weeks ago)

Now the stinking driver's side mirror let go I tried to glue it back, but that didnt work.

It's an old Honda what do you expect??

Sweet deal that she scored the Onething Warranty program on the car.

Good link - wrong year model I found the right one, but I hate spending $50 for a $5 part and the neighbors called when we put painters' tape on it last week. Duct tape would probably send them to the fashion police.

How many keys are hanging off of her key ring? That'll eventually kill any ignition switch.

As for the mirror, you don't need a stinkin' mirror!

Why would you spend $50?? Is it now your car??

Or is this part of the coverage Onething warranty program??

    I stand corrected.

I hate to see her spend $50 for a $5 part.

You are correct, but since she just got the car, I think it is the previous owner's keyring is to blame.
