Hmm what is decent? Are we talking about your decent or my decent? I'm just curious because I don't want to offend anyone else's decent...
With Honda's factory in Tennessee and Toyota's plant here in Texas, perhaps the problem wasn't with how the American's put the car together, but perhaps the flaws with American iron were inherent in the design and engineering.
Just a thought...
Maybe management and quality standards/control had something to do it as well.
