    BR, NO!!! Bad BR!!

Get something flush. I think that would ruin the outline of your car which is seeexy right now. Those just somehow look really silly.

EDIT: Oops, and my bad about the aluminum lids

I think its funny that he has those vents to cool his engine off, but he still has his license plate blocking all that airflow... I have mine JDM mounted to side on my front bumper for max flow haha and it looks funny

By the way, I did learn that this lid is not being produced by AAC, it's being produced by Steve from AAC. He was a bit disillusioned with them for a few issues they had so he went his own way and started designing this lid with the help of Revlimiter. The first manufacturer he had (who had a better price) flaked out on him and he had to find another, which accounted for the delay and slight change in price.

Remember that Moss sells one of these for $200 + shipping, this one is $99 shipped.

    I can't wait for mine

Adam aka: RevLimiter deserves more credit than that. He gave Steve all the info. and even designed the lid based off his experience building his own.

Looks good. Don't worry about incoming water unless you aren't running a filter. You would literally have to soak the plugs to notice anything and some silicone is good for that. Just wipe down after rainy excursions. If you left the plastic drip panels on the hood behind the lights, you really don't need to worry about intake of water.

FG and CF don't really mend too well
since one uses resin and the other epoxy.
There are two kinds of weaves for carbon fiber, matt and cloth,
ofcourse cloth is the one CF is known for but matt is way stronger.
2 layers would more than suffice for strength (IMO)

If you've seen the headlights you'd get a better idea of what I'm talking about.
