I think there are much better looking front/rear spoilers.
They save 90lbs for cloth seats, with no air and stereo.
The suspension has no adjustment for a "track car"... I'm sure there are aftermarkets that can be tuned to work better for different situations.
They say its a track car but doesn't have an improved rollbar, nor can the seats be used right with harnesses.
Their 2 second increase lap time was probably mostly from going from the regular SO-2 tires to those 140 treadwear Potenzas.

For those running in stock classes I guess its cool... but for the hype I don't see it as anything new that you couldn't do better yourself with aftermarket parts.
I do agree with your points, because I'm pro-aftermarket. For individuals that don't modify their cars and drive them stock on the track or at an auto-x, it's a good candidate.

That's one ugly looking S2000. Pretty pathetic that they only managed to save 90 pounds overall - heck, other than deleteing the a/c and the soft top, it doesn't sound like they really did much of anything in the way of weight removal.

Sure they did, but then they bolted on that dumb- wing, the aero bits behind the "roll bars" - under the hard top, no less - and the big 'ole "Please pass the soy sauce" nose job. I hope it comes with a giant "R" splashed scross the hood...

That'a whole lot more tasteful than that ridiculous looking S2000.

Crap, how did they ruin such an attractive car?
