Count me
So... I've heard that you guys need more than 4 days warning for an event... Well... October may be just what you're looking for!
October 16th REALLY needs to be on your calendar. In big red letters. Why?
Two words. Unique Performance. Excited yet? How about these words. Texas Shelby Continuation Facility? Breathing hard yet? Take a look at this link. If you've watched any of the automotive programming on TLC (or have a pulse) you might recognize some of the cars or a name or two from the flyer.
Whether you meet with us and participate in the drive to follow, you want to see this show. Did I mention that it's free to the public?
I'd like for us to meet up around 9:30 at my office near the corner of Valley View/Luna Rd (I-35/I-635) in Dallas so that we can pull in as a group for the requisite style points.
Once we finish drooling, we'll head up to Muenster for a German lunch (otherwise, it just wouldn't be Octoberfest, now would it?) and an exploration of some more Texas countryside.
Mark your calendars and let us know if you plan to attend. A head count will be REQUIRED for lunch since the preferred restaurants have limited seating.
Since I will already be at TMS and it is costing me $$$ . . .I guess I'll miss another MME event
You will be able to hear me and 100,000 of my friends on the radio while you're driving home from Muenster. This may be the last time since Eddie's crew can't seem to sell me the seats I want for next year and . . . that's another post.Saturday, October 16, 2004

The last time LSMC made this trip we came upon a bicycle race/rally. Drive wasn't much fun the last 10-20 miles. Lots of bicycle riders and nowhere to go to avoid them.
Meunster was an early years destination for the club each fall. The crowds at the fairgrounds are much larger than 10-12 years ago with a major motorcycle presence now. Everyone seems to have a great time and it is something to see.

me and my g/f might be in...dunno yet...i'll have to see what's going on
See profile for more details: 14.56 @ 94.89 on 50 shot. 2.18- 60', 9.40 @ 75.52- 1/8.
We would like to go but money is tight right now. Anyone know how much it might run (ABOUT)
Shouldn't require too much cash it will be dependent on what you get for lunch, plus a tank of gas.Originally Posted by Dave

Sounds like fun? Is the plan to still head north?
I've already requested the day off from work, so, I plan to be there!
If every thing goes right we should be there
That sounds like a ton o fun! How far is muenster from dallas? Just curious..... I am german and have not had real german food since 1991..... not that I LIKE German food... but I am up for some beer...
Can I be penciled in for 2.....or do I need to make lunch res. myself. Just let me know :)
Don't forget kids if you plan to attend let us know, that way we can warn the restaurant and make sure everyone has a set of instruction for the event!
I'm in +1 maybe and if she don't go I'll just get someone else to go ( ah the joys of being single, Nah its just sucks) so I'm in do i have to send my 25 dollar registration in now or how does that process work or are we just going there together ( i really need more deatils, don't I?)
rory
There is no charge to participate in a drive.(yet ) You may want to bring some money in case you want lunch or need gas.
It really helps if we can get an accurate head count in advance so if you plan to go please let us know! Because as Tailchaser so eloquently put it, "A head count will be REQUIRED for lunch since the preferred restaurants have limited seating."
