Can someone explain the Cat Head thing?

Can someone explain this to me?, I really just don't get it...what am I missing?
I would need a pretty good reason to put a Pussy Cat head on my car given the Miatas reputation.

We talked about it at AX this past Sunday. First it was going to be a 'booby' prize to the slowest car or biggest

of the day. It kind of evolved in to a 'smack talk' magnet against everyone else. You gots to have magnets when you AX!

I think that I had the slowest time of any Miata out there does that mean I qualify for the magnet?
