my understanding is that the new ones, having finer thread count, are less likely to loosen up after repeated use (loosen and tighten)
a couple of the bolts on my car kept slipping (allowing the camber adjustment to change under load)
so, supposedly, these are less likely to let that happen
if you haven't had a problem like that, or don't change alignment often, you probably don't need them
