Thread: Hill Country Resort/B&B?

    Default Hill Country Resort/B&B?

Looking for the ultimate Hill Country resort or B&B to take the girlfriend to. Most of the ones I've seen are a little too "grandma's house". Ideally it'd be a non-corporate, unique place either in/outside any of the hill country (Fredericksburg, etc) or in the country with an amazing view. Closer to Enchanted Rock the better (to have something to do).

    Any recommendations?

We went down to Fredricksburg a few years ago. Stayed at a place called Annie's Place. Outside of town, out in the country. Very isolated and primitive. Climbed Enchanted Rock, hit the Fredricksburg Brewery, etc.

If you wanna go a little further past Kerrville, there is some nice ones around Leakey and Lost Maples. I forget the name of the one we stayed in a couple years ago on the Outlaws Hill Country trip.

Maybe one of them will chime in if they remember.
