I'm not worried about Jeremy.
Houston is going to be tough. Jon has been on his game this month and Eric Jones was fast in Walnut Ridge. If that weren't enough, the current B Stock national Champion - Jason Isley - is driving all the way from California for the Houston Tour.

Day2:
Looks like Roger Johnson has designed a couple of really entertaining courses! Notice that (unlike Walnut Ridge ) the courses is actually quite different on Day 2!

No stories here. One word of advice, though – when Team Weiner (Clovis and Stirneman) talk you into going drinking, make sure you secure an alternative ride home. Many thanks to Henry and Ben for the lift after the Lotus boys snuck out the back door without saying goodbye.
I had a tough time staying off the cones this weekend. I had to stand on my first run Saturday, after wiggling a slalom cone on run 2 and going into dorifto mode with a massive, smoky spin on run 3 while trying to catch Jon and Kenny.
Sunday I killed the Kenny cone on run 1, picked up another slalom cone (plus a missed shift – if there’s one thing I don’t like about this car, it’s the “don’t rush me” shifter) on run 2, and had to clean it up a little bit on run 3 to keep from moving backward. I beat Jon on Sunday, but not enough to move up into the final trophy spot. Congrats to Kenny and Jon for their trophy spots, although Isley showed us on Sunday why he’s a 2-time National Champ by pulling out 1.2 seconds over the next fastest driver in the field, straight-timing A Stock, and laying down a run that would have trophied in a talented Super Stock field. He took the top PAX spot on Sunday, and he definitely earned it.
Great weekend, great weather, lots of time for socializing (unlike Walnut Ridge ), great courses and great competition. Can’t wait until next year!
