Hey guys just a reminder to let you know I will be playing at The Liquid Lounge in Dallas on Tuesday May 29th at 7:30 sharp in case some of you Big D guys wanna come hear some original acoustic music.
This is the Emergenza Acoustic Hero competition I was talking about....I am hoping I will get the chance to represent Texas in the nationals :)
Be sure if you come out to raise a hand for me , I am playing 6 original tunes and there will be 8 other original acoustic players there to entertain as well.

For those who can't make it I will let you know how it turns out.

The winner from here will go on to represent Tx, in the nationals at "The Bitter End" (a legendary venue) in New York, and the winner of that competition will then move on to play the "Taubertal Open Air Festival" in Germany for a crowd of 50,000 people....record executives included!

Well, I won the 1,500. guitar but didnt get to move on to the next round, maybe next year.
It did come down between me and another guy so I feel real good about being able to walk away with something, it's not everyday that you pay nothing to enter a competition and walk away with a hefty prize

It was a lot of fun and I had quite a bit of support, won the guitar with a spread of two votes so it was close but it....even if I walked away with nothing it was a kick in the pants, I had a great time.
I also learned a couple of things from this years competition that will help me next year if they do it in Dallas again.
