    Or you could take a day off from the daily grind ( Take a vacation day or maybe switch shifts or days with a co-worker) I am sure they can workk something out with you. I have two kids and work 12hr days and I am still able to make an autocross here and there.

    You can afford to not buy stuff for one of your hobbies and have the money. I don't think that Merv is talking about racing you in a SPEC car. He doesn't need the advantage.

    True, all the trackdog guys charge the guests 30 per session, which is still a bargain.
