Well now I know why my Konig's bent so easy....I hope the Falkens are better.
I guess you give up structural stability for lightness, at least with Konig.....that makes sense but breaking spokes off is scary as hell.

I think there is a mis-conceptions about the Konigs. They are a fine wheel for use with street tires. I have ran mine for 3 or 4 years without any problems. The problems come with running R-comps, and the fact that the Konig is a light 6.5 inch wide wheel. In other discussions, Brian Goodwin has stated that he would never recommend running 205 or larger R-comps on any 6.5 inch wide wheel. Most all wheels out there that are considered acceptable track wheels are 7 inches or larger.
Oh, my...

MSR #1001, SCCA #208822 Let's go racin'
I am going to try and scoot out there too just to watch everyone have a good time.
p.s. the Konig Kolors I have are 15 x 7 but I see what you are saying Titus about them not being suitable for R compounds.
I will bring the digital camera if I can make it to take some shots.

Jeebus! I hope I'm not in the same run group as Jeff.
Inexperience + Huge Ego + R-Comps = Recipe for Disaster
I'd hate to be in the same corner when he goes flying of the track.
Not Hatin' on Jeff but he needs a reality check.
