    Default Dirty Top

So what do you guys use to clean your convertible tops? Got some black spots on the '02 (tan top) that I just seem to get clean, plus the top doesn't shine like it did back in the day.

    TIA

Try a search... Oh wait... we're not that board... Hang on... let me find it.

Well bugga... I can't find the bottle, but it came from wagner's sister's joint... I'm sure altiain will pipe up shortly. He'll probably offer his bottle for sale since he still hasn't found the release levers to drop the top on the '8.

I've heard Magic Eraser from Mr. Clean works well. A friend with a tan '99 top used with good results. But I've heard that it may slightly lighten the overall color of your top. You might want to try it in a small hidden area first. YMMV,as I'm giving advice finishing off a bottle of champagne and eating Cheetos...

I don't think I'd use one of those on a soft top. I think they contain bleach.

Magic Eraser is considered non-toxic. As with any sponge-like product, when swallowed this product may block the gastrointestinal tract.
Don't eat your Magic Eraser until you try it on the top of the yellow car and report back here.

Thanks for the offer Tim but I wanted instant gratification so I stopped at Vatozone and bought some Bluemagic Convertible top Cleaner, it worked "Meh" but the top does look slightly better...
