    Default Tire Pressure Monitors

I have a couple of Tire Pressure Monitors questions for ours pros around here.

    1. Can I rotate the tires myself? Do I have "reprogram" and how to, the receiver?
    2. Can I "upgrade" to after market wheels by installing the OEM transmitters to the new wheels. Are the after market wheels have to be "special" to accept the transmitter?

no you do not need to reprogram them when you rotate. some wheels can accept the sensors depending on the desighn of the wheel and if it is a valve stem mounted sensor or a band type. i have to fool with these things all day. you may be able to deactivate it with the factory scanner if you go aftermarket wheels that wont fit the sensors
