We know the Whataburger on North Main @ NE 28th is not good, so we can try the McDonalds in the same area. Just take NE 28th west from I-35W to North Main and you will see it.

    7 AM.

Last season POS and I met at the McD's at 121/Beach (north of downtown). I'll probably go there again since it's on my way.

Well, if you were consistently beating a certain yellow RX-8 that was there... I beat him, when was the last time you did that?
I believe I've beat him on straight up or or raw time the last four events, iirc.

BTW, and no offense to POS (who was definitely flying that day), but any time we get straight timed by C Stock, we aren't driving anywhere near what the car is capable of on decent tires.

I'll let you know when I actually learn how to drive this car.

This thread needs just a little more ego... Then it would be perfect.

We can't have dueling McDonald's meetings unless we want to break up into a Thomas Group and an Iain Group, so we will just go to one. I do not care which. Just decide and let me know.

One would need a Solo II-certified roll bar to compete in something like this, would they not?

Why ya asking you never show to anything posted on this board anyhow.

The answer to the question is no you do not need a roll bar to compete.

    Dirty runs don't win events.

Everybody on every forum knows you were on corded tires... we know.

I have never said I was going to was going to come into B-stock and start winning all the events. I'm not the one that's made a big deal out of it so I guess I'm a .

Well... you may not know that I have reignited my interest in my car lately (that happens with my hobbies now and then, they need a kickstart ). Hopefully I can make it out to something soon, at least to watch.

I have a feeling some people are going to faint if they see me show up

Not much fun to watch. You need to participate, and it's about time that you do.

I have this thing about making an idiot of myself...

I'm sure after I try it the first time, I'll be okay. However, there's few things I can think of (for me) that would be more embarrassing than getting lost on an auto-x track

First time out - you can catch a ride with someone before you run and get someone to ride with you for your first few.

Usually, we only point and laugh when you've been AXing for years and get lost.

    Didn't even think about that...

I just remember the first time I saw a video of an AX run and I thought "wtf, how do they know where to go??"

First time not too many people will laugh at you for anything. The only reason they would is if you come out first time and tell everyone about how good you are and how bad ass your car is.

You get to walk the course as many times as you can before the event

SCCA even does a novice walk with a world-class driver to tell you what to do on course.

Is anyone making T-Shirts promoting the B Stock battle?
A Z06 is just like a Miata, but with the other half of the motor . . .
