Hey, I'm all for it! I figure a measly $20 from each of the B Stock ballers would give us a $100 pot, winner take all!

That would buy the winner what, 40% of 1 tire I'm way too poor to play with the B-stock boys, I'd rather duke it out with jrj512 and gabby where 100 bucks buys nearly 2 tires

Man it was hot just for the little bit I was at La Grave for setup, you kids make sure you bring plenty of fluids!

Hopefully the SCCA will have some H2O, but ya never know!

Well, that was entertaining (yes, I came home early ). I worked all night and was up before that... bear with me and there's no need for the thing.

jrj512 seemed to be one of the most aggressive Miata drivers out there... great work, at least from what I could see. Sorry I couldn't get with you guys to tell you I was leaving.

    Lessons learned:

    1. I'm going to SCCA events exclusively, because they mark the track with lines, so there's a much better chance of me NOT getting lost.

    2. It's FAR less complicated than I thought.

    3. These people are idiots. And I love it.

Yes, I'll be competing when I can.

ER chalks the lines too. Not sure about the other clubs.

Just wait till you get behind the wheel, that's exactly what my dad said when we walked the course his first time

Nice driving Jrj512, let me know where I can get some of that voodoo potion that you used on your dead RT615's today. Good job to Miatamoto as well, great battle in BS today.

Fun course and a very nice venue. Congrats to JRJ for winning Tire class, POS won C stock, Miatamoto won BS and Mark52 won CSP (kudos to the rest of you mugs who trophied as well).

I think Miatae took home all the Tire class trophies (6 of them to be exact)

Yes, both SCCA and ER chalk the courses. I do not believe that anyone else does. It will not take you long to read a course without chalk, so plan on attending events from other clubs, too.

That was a great course today. The good thing about Piper creating a course I do not like (the last ER event) is that he always comes back with a great course to make up for it. Good job!

Also, kudos to SCCA for a very smooth event. Things went much better than our last visit to La Grave.

That was a fun day, but it was a touch warm.

So Solo RX-7 how did the wireless lights work??

Hey, I'm not saying I'm going to not suck like a Hoover the first time I go out, but it's less complicated that "I" personally thought it would be

Yep, that was a fun day, in spite of the heat. Great course, great site, great competition.

I came up a little short in B Stock today. No excuses, I just got outdriven. Miatamoto is going to be tough competition in what was already a tough class before he showed up.

Congrats to the other class winners. Oh, and did I mention that STU was won by a couple of Civics today?

Smooth running event and a great course. Especially considering the new timing equipment, very impressive.

Cracked me up. The announcers were talking up the B-stock battle from the first heat (we ran in the 3rd). I even think I heard Altiain talking some smack when he was announcing in heat 2. Great competition in B-stock.

BTW, I thought you were going to make some of the STU guys cry. Very funny stuff.

Beautifully. Not one incident all day that we could attribute to the equipment. We had one problem in the first heat that turned out to be batteries for the start emitter. We thought they were new batteries but it turns out they weren't. By the time we got the wired system ready to take over the wireless system was back online with new batteries. Never had to make a single run with the wired system. It worked flawlessly the rest of the day.

It puts a little more work on the computer operator, but it also requires one less person in the trailer.

Anyone notice who was top PAX today? I hope it sticks after audit...

That's great news! Seems like we had more problems because of the old cables...

Congrats on that! What would really be interesting is if you did it again at the next local event in order to cement it. Have you thought about asking Henry if you could try his car one more time?
