that was great. i have a friend with an exige and i can attest to how hard it it is to get in and out of that thing.

I kinda figured the Lotus would do better on the drag strip and road course. I understand that the Bentley and Exige have about the same power to weight ratio, and I am not knocking the Bentley by any means. But give me two cars with equal power to weight ratios and I will always choose the lighter car. Plus, the Bentley as was shown in the vid was designed with luxury and comfort in mind. The Exige was designed for one purpose and one purpose alone: to be driven. So in any motorsport contest
that fact alone will give the Exige an edge.
Oh, and the design of the Exige's cockpit is screaming for gull-wing doors! That should make entry and exit easier.
Edit: GT40 style doors would work too, where apiece of the roof swings out with the doors.

Yep... I have no idea what they are saying, but I hope that one point the show was trying to make is that power to weight ration does not tell the whole story about a car.
I DO know what they're saying, and the commentary is quite funny...

I will tell you that the Lotus made it around the short test track in 19 seconds, whereas the Bentley needed 23 seconds. However, adding Mr. Jumbo as a passenger in the Lotus added 3 seconds to its time...
