This is a reminder, veterans probably don't need it, that Hallett is a little more than two months away. I sent Gail my check since the paypal link is not working this year. $165 for Saturday plus $75 for the Friday half day. I believe the Friday open session is for Intermediate 2 and Advanced only. Gail said that it fills up fast since it's limited to fewer cars than Saturday.

Not sure where the Banquet will be yet Saturday nite so I haven't booked a room yet but Hampton is still available at an Arkansas Miata Club rate of $84.

I have reserved a room for Thursday and Friday nites at the Pit Stop in Jennings, OK. This is the closest hotel to the track and is fairly new. They have only six rooms, two with 2 twin beds and four with queen size beds. I got a room for both nites for 75 bucks total and five is refunded with key return. Tony said that all rooms are non-smoking and the property has camera surveillance so cars should be safe. Pit Stop has no website. I found them on Hallett Raceway's site. Their phone is 918 757 4108 if anyone's interested.

Spoke to Gail yesterday, and I believe the banquet will be held at the restaurant directly behind the hotel.

I don't understand why we stay at that hotel every year when the consistently fail at booking reservations. Every single year we go there and they double-book, so why do we keep going?

Does anyone have a telephone # so I can speak to Gail because she asked me to double-check my reservation I paid for last year and apparently her email account is broken because she's not replying to my questions. Its been a few months since I tried of course.
