It’s not at all uncommon among the serious autocrosser’s in E STOCK, ST, STS, and STR (NB) classes, for the shocks to be worth more than the car. Not that it’s not crazy.
lol i think for the average person ohlins xidas or afcos would do just fine
Ohlins are far from average, price-wise. Almost as much $ as AST's.
Suspension is second only to tires in making a car fast around a track/autox, so you definitely get what you pay for. I will be upgrading my coilovers to AST's eventually.
