Nice course. Too bad I'll be out of town and will miss it.
Great, finally a course without a 1000 slaloms and I can't make it.
M3 is always the answer.
That looks like a really fun course.

Just a reminder...
Sunday morning at 2am is Daylight Savings!
That means we all lose 1 hour sleep and what should be 7:30 start for Tech & Registration is in reality going to be 6:30 start time for your body clock!
Set your clocks ahead & please don't be late for the event!
Over 140 drivers, we're going to be out there all day. Glad it's not summer.
Currently 54 novices!

We novices only totaled 4 cars and a fence today, we will do fine!

Don't forget...
Daylight Savings! "Spring Ahead" those clocks tonight when you go to bed!!
Man, what a great course. I was certain it would be hard for the novices to follow, but it seemed to be universally admired. It was plenty fast, and rewarded good car placement. Awesome to see so many people at event #1, and so many new cars/drivers joining the madness. The autox school really worked: this was the easiest day I've had as Novice Chief, since everyone knew what to do! Kudos to TX Region SCCA!

I agree with that hard to follow for the novices comment...but yeah most figured it out.
So...when can we start implementing a .975 handicap for street tires? :)

The course today was WAY easier to follow and learn than the 2 school courses for me and my buddy. We had a track map, more guide cones, the chalk lines, etc.
One thing I'd add to the school are handout maps for the courses.

Miata's take top 4 places in PAX
Interesting to note that the other cars in the top 10 are a Subaru, Cheese Pizza car, and a pole dancer.
