ER sirt on Iron Resurrection

Had the new car show "Iron Resurrection" recorded, just got through watching.

The guy that sold them the project truch was wearing an ER t-shirt.

Mike McShane, was that you? Looked a little like you but it was hard to tell.

Yep, that was me. I'm not JUST a Miata parts guy. Got a sweet 47 Chevy truck too if anyone is interested!

I watched the show and OZMDD you definitely have a face for radio!

Yeah, no modeling contracts in my future. On top of that, I was well over 180 lbs at that point last year, and it shows. OTOH, my Dad looked pretty good!

Was that your dad at the end of the show?? Very cool!

Yep. His red 51 is in the background of those scenes. He was at the Austin C&C when they were filming, and Jason asked him if he would do a stand-in purchase in case the actual buyer didn't get the filming done prior to the air date deadline, so he jumped in. Apparently he was good enough that the crew actually thought he was buying the truck. They made him take off his UT apparel and wear that t-shirt, which looked a bit odd.

Back to the topic at hand; that's so cool that that was your dad at the end of the show. We may have to hire him for our commercial.

With my frame I'm supposed to be about 155, so don't feel bad. Nobody would guess it these days, but I was always the guy who people wanted to give a sandwich to, I was so bony. I've just learned to love food more than biking!
