Wow....that would be something!

Wow, the bean counters doing their job. If it's not selling, don't built it.
On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

So how much money they would save if they quit making cars and trucks all together??
^F150 is the best selling vehicle in the world.
No one batted an eye when FCA killed off the Dart and 200. Abandoning cars is not a new phenomenon. You are going to see others do it, too. Anyone notice that BMW and Mercedes each have 12,000 CUV/SUV models, now?
I wonder if they are clearing the slate in preparation for electric car line up.
What's left of a '96 Miata with stock clutch.
My car exceeds my driving ability. That's the only possible explanation.
They're just getting rid of things that don't make money. Not that they will not have an EV line up, but I don't think that plays a big part in this decision.
What about the CAFE standards? Moving to just Trucks and Crowd Mauling Mustangs ya really don't have a fuel-efficient lineup???
That's what the EV part will fix, not that anyone will buy the EVs, but they are going to be forced to make them.
Right now, EVs and Hybrids are only 3% of the market. 3%. You hear about how EV sales are up by x%, but the reality is that the same hybrid drivers are just buying EVs instead of hybrids, so the overall hybrid/EV market penetration (snicker) has not changed.
I really do not know how the government plans to get people to buy EVs without a significant increase in the gas tax, which they have proven they will not do, no matter how bad our roads have gotten. So, the automakers will be forced to build EVs that no one wants.
The new mustang 5.0 has a 10 speed trans and when i drove a rental in commiefornia through the mountains it got 25 mpg. Running mostly in track mode. At a very spirited pace.
Btw the trans sucked in normal mode. Way to much shifting and ill timed shifts.
If they can do something similar, mpg wise, with the rest of the v8 fleet they will be ok
Blah blah blah!
^Why does a slush-box need 10 speeds?
The harsh reality, unfortunately, is that to a large degree Wall Street’s perspective of Ford is not fixable.
That's BS. They never took a government hand-out like GM did.
Correct. But Wall Street thinks Tesla is the bomb, even though they hemorrhage money. Stocks having nothing to do with reality.
^Not to mention child labor building batteries, and no acceptable way to dispose of them.
Lets not forget about how much pollution it creates to just make one battery and deliver it to the US.
Blah blah blah!
