Hello out there, is there anybody out there?
Jack "Rude Dog" just signed up last night.
I bought a red 92 a little over a year ago and love this thing. Most fun car I've ever owned.
I ride a Triumph Sprint ST sport-touring bike and do about three out of state trips a year on that. Ozarks, Colorado, North carolina BRP, etc.
I collect die cast F1 cars and attend the USGP each year.
My daugheter plays select soccer and most of my time is spent there.
I'd love to find out more about local events and even at 56 I like to ride and drive sportingly

    Hey Jack!

    Welcome to the insanity

Hope you can join us for tomorrow's drive event.

We'll be meeting up at the Outback in Lewisville tomorrow morning at 8:45am for the drive down to the big gathering at Tailchaser's place.

Well, you've come to the right place!

First of all, welcome to MME. As you may have read on our website's front page, we are a group of people who enjoy the performance aspects of Miata ownership. That's not street racing, but serious, "mature" sports car ownership. We started out as a bunch of weekend autocross warriors, and have expanded our activities to include group drives (like our Oktoberfest Run), open lapping days (like this attempt at MSR), getting together to bang on each other's cars, dyno runs, and general get togethers.

Come on out and meet the gang sometime, either at an autocross (we typically have 15 to 20 Miata pilots at any local AX event), or at one of our GTG's (get togethers). In fact, I think channelmaniac just mentioned our next event...

hate to be dumb but where is Tailchasers place and what will be happening there?
Trying to decide on wether to dash into the Ozarks on the bike or go Miataing.
    Thanks.

Default OK I rode my bike Saturday

Sorry for not making the drive Saturday but the day was so fine and I was torn.
I saddled up about 11:00 AM and headed North-Est into Oklahoma, and Arkansas across the Talihimina, turned around and rode back. About 550 miles ain all and back around 8:00 PM after a wonderful day ride, three gas stops, and one meal stop.
Next time I'll try and make the Miata drive as I will watch the list for what's going on.
    Thanks.

Age and treachery will overcome youth and exhuberance every time
Hello, my name is OUTRACE and I'm a motorcyclist. It has been zero days since my last ride.

It takes lots of experience to be truly treacherous.

Let us begin your training, Grasshopper.
