    Default Nationals!

Well, I made it into Topeka about nine last night. Today we'll walk the course, and check out some of the Tuesday/Wednesday action.

Suprise result so far? Our own David Smart is sitting in third in a very tough and very large (69 drivers) Super Stock field!

    More later!

Thanks for the update, Iain. Please keep us posted!

Interviews with drivers and human interest stories would be nice, too.

Sweet, post some pics if you can snag some too, preferrably with a mountain of trophies from the N. TX area

    Bite me, jrj512!

I'll try and post some pics later today, but bear with me - I'm still trying to figure out how to do that from this phone.

Update - Smart dropped back a little today, but ended up with a trophy in 7th. Stuart Maxcy finished in 13th. I only got to see Super Stock run, because i was busy most of the morning putting the car together and getting through tech.

No pics today. Sorry! I'll update more tomorrow after we run!

Are those finals? Some nice placings -- really nice for David and Janice (sorry, I don't know the FSAE folks) -- but the big surprise to me is the "lowly" 2nd place for Mr Saunders. I gotta go look at all the results now...

So y'know how the running joke is that my car is bass boat green? Well, I left Jeremy alone with the car for awhile yesterday, and he had a little suprise for me when I got back…

Damn, I can't attach pics from the phone. I'll try texting it to TC and see if he can post it somehow.

And Rick Clark finished 17th in ES driving Terranova's car.

Well, B Stock is finished for the day… J-Fo was rockin' today, and he's currently in fifth. Kenny is in 15th, one spot behind his celebrity co-driver, Jason Saini. I had cone trouble on my first two runs (I wiggled one cone on my second run, which would have put me in the trophies), and ended up in 24th, 7 thousandths behind Jon W., who didn't even have a fast scratch time today.

Oh well, tomorrow is another day!
