    Default Full Lunar Eclipse

There is an eclipse of the moon tomorrow night. It looks like it might be rainy, but if it isnt we should be able to see it.

Lucky you! After 2 hours on the tandem, Amanda and I turned south for the last leg home and the clouds broke just as the eclipse was near total. It was perfect.

I was at Twin Peaks last night so I missed it. I was looking at some other heavenly bodies in motion though.

Finally got a chance to break out my new camera.

I have others but these are best.
I wish I had time to play with the cheapo tripod first, it was a little shaky.

There were breaks in the clouds right before and slightly after the full eclipse, I don't think I got to see the full eclipse, it was covered. I only had a few second window most of the time between clouds. Luckly I had a chance to see it, I was worried seeing the clouds driving home. This is the first eclipse of any kind for me, so I was excited like a dork all night.

The camera is a Panasonic DMC-TZ3, I highly recommend it as a good non SLR. It takes some phenomenal night shots with a tripod.

Nice shots. Panasonic makes a real nice camera. I have a 4 year old FZ-10 and chose it because of the Leica lens.

You definately had a little movement, but the shots came out really well. I miss having a camera capable of great night shots like that.
