I was just thinking about one of these... I heard something about using a baseball bat. My right front fender has some of the inner lip bent down into the wheel well (presumably from when I wrecked it and never noticed until now). Would it be okay to try using a bat to smooth it out?

I'm off all day Wednesday. I would like to get it before the meet so that we can drive the new car. The wheels we have are 15x8 with a nice offset and are rubbing pretty good.
