Did the stock 90 miata have a cover over the taillights intereior portion in the trunk or were they exposed, I know that the lock mechanisms and the rods had a cover so I was wondering did the lights and the wiring have the same type of covers too?

No covers over the taillight on my '92, just the center section like you mentioned.
I was wondering because if there were any I am missing hem and so when i have the trunk sprayed ( very thin rhino lining) this weekend, I won't have to worry about spraying over any attachment points.
