Oh man, I am sorry to hear that
I've lost a roof and two cars to hail. I hope your new NC is alright.

I'm guessing your cars are outside since most ppl don't have skylights in their garages. Are they ok?

I think the NC made it, and the Xterra, we had 2-3in hail but they were parked under the BIG carport....won't really know untill I wash it tomorrow morning.
The bathroom is screwed though, everything is saturated but i have insurance.
We had about 8in of hail on the ground after it was done.
there was a tornado the next exit up from my crib, dont know what the damage was there yet.
    Thanks for the concern.

    Thanks guys!
I have to get out and survey the damage but it is extensive.
Just made my claim call, should have an adjuster out sometime next week.
I will be washing the cars in a little bit to see if there is any damage, but from what I see without washing it...it looks like I may have made it without damage.

Glad you two are ok. Thank goodness for carports. Hope this disaster doesn't set you back too much toward getting those coilovers now.

The really nasty stuff was only about 1 mile south of my place. SOrry 'bout the house.
Hmm what is decent? Are we talking about your decent or my decent? I'm just curious because I don't want to offend anyone else's decent...

    here's the damage....
going to need a new roof
the insulation is torn apart under the house from the water weight
the windows and shutters are beat to pieces in the back and window frame
the AC in my shed is beat up
and the bathroom is all trashed going to need new flooring and carpet and some sheetrock work and new skylights.

thank goodness tho the real bad stuff missed us, and my deductable is only 250.00

P.S. the cars are fine, that's what really had me worried.

I could deal with having just about anything beat to hell by the weather, but my car? Hell no! I would save my car before I saved the roof over my head! That's what insurance is for...

LOL, yeah the deductable is twice as much on my car too! X2 is 1000. so i was real happy to see the cars were ok.
It's weird but with this location bad storms usually split when they reach us, the ones that stay together are really bad.
This has happened only a couple of times in 5 years.
This storm was at an angle but them flattened out along 20 when it reached us, that made it hail on us for a very long time.
I wish i would have gotten pictures of the mist coming off the ice covering everything, it was a weird sight.
i still had ice on the ground at 3:00pm yesterday, just in shaded areas tho.
