Default What type of health coverage do you have?

This thread is not about how you feel about a national health care plan. If you want to talk about that, open a thread in the Gasbags forum.

Aetna through work... seems pretty good so far.

BCBS has fallen from grace, IMO. It used to be great but now it's hard to find docs that take it.

United Healthcare PPO, surprisingly the health coverage is as good or better than what I had at FedEx which was really good as well (Cigna PPO)

$20 a month FTW! But I am working for a CRO so we should have pretty good medical.

Also, it sure beats the heck outta having to use VA for anything.

You better read the fine print of the life-time max coverage! A lot of the polices out there only have 1 million max. These days you can go through that in less than 6 months in the hospital w/o ICU stay!

    Cigna PPO - it ROCKS.

Two days in the hospital 2 years ago with a huge battery of heart tests... $50 co-pay.

    Diagnosis: stress.

The major reason why I'm working at FedEx is their insurance benefits. Cigna does rock.

Katie's birth bills were $20,000 and we paid $100. Trina's $14,000 surgery cost us $200.

Office visits are $20 and $5 generic scripts.

For this we pay $55 a paycheck.

I have pretty good insurance... The oldest has some medical issues that require frequent trips to the doctors and specialists so I just got the highest plan my job offfered.
