Oh man, a 200whp miata is just unreal. Regardless of where the manifold pressure comes from, 200whp makes these cars unreal. Yes, it takes a lot of money to do this and make it track-able in the summer...but its worth every cent. Name a car that will reliably do 0-60 in less than 5 seconds, hold over 1g, and get 30mpg+...I bet its at least 3x what I paid from start to finish.

    it makes the powerz!!!!oneone
    ~1.9l 99 motor
    BEGi S3 (gt2860rs)
    3" Enthuza w/cat
    MSpnp 9093

I need to learn more about tuning to take it further and fix the torque drop at redline.

Its a lot of fun...and remember that dyno dynamis dynos typically read 10-12% lower than dynojet.

I wouldn't worry about it until you find fava beans in the glove box.

I drove this car at an auto-x in college station...on street tires. Throttle control is a fun, new concept.

whoa! How is that possible? I don't really like auto-x all that much, but I'm going to do them frequently to work on throttle application and low-speed stuff.

Sorry I didn't get back to you last night. A brazilian liquored me up.

Understood, we ended up leaving right after you called anyway.

Oops, read the results wrong (was comparing you pax time to their real time). But you would've gotten 3rd.

After some discussion with a few people who know a lot more than I do the torque roll-off may be caused by the stock intake plenum...some people with engineering degrees seem to think its not big enough and needs shorter runners. I've had a hard time finding 250wtq+ dynos from cars with 99-intakes. srebmun onyd s'mf eveileb t'nod I

one of them is, my sister has the other...lol.

I want to, but I have a meeting in Houston so I'm doing the lemons thing. I'm going to do frequent auto-xing this summer. I never gave it a chance...now I'm going to get suspension for my daily driver and make it the CSP ride. I want to get into the most challenging field possible after seeing what Danny Pedrosa does out there. I'm hooked because its a part of motorsports that I enjoy, although I still prefer roadcourse action by far.

Good to hear you're going to give autox a try. You're daily driver may fit better in STS than CSP. I'm sure I'll see you at an autocross or the track soon.
