    Default using 1.6 trans for a 1.8 engine?

    am I able to use the stock trans from my 1990 1.6 miata for a 1.8 looked thru the forums and could not find anything on it

    Does anyone know the hp/torq. difference between the 1.6 and 1.8 off hand

    And the 1.6 clutch flywheel combo is a little lighter... for a little extra pep.

    For the most part you can interchange just about any part between the NA & NB Miatas.

    ie: I have a 90 with a 97 engine, 95 transmission, a front hub from a 01 (only non abs hubs interchange)!

    and with very little modification to the mounting points, you can swap a NB interior into an NA as well.
