Default '99 Black & Tan to all-black swap...without removing the dash.

    I've got a writeup here - http://www.steveandlee.com/wordpress/?page_id=68 - about what I did over the last 2 weekends.

Cliff's Notes: Decided to swap my black/tan interior for all-black. Something I've wanted to do for a while. I opted to do it without swapping dashboards, though. I actually painted the bottom half of the dash and it came out VERY well. Pics speak for themselves.

    YMMV

I did the same not too long ago on my NA... I cut a couple of corners with the carpet work, but it came out nicely

    Good job!

Lemme guess. You put the new carpet right on top of the old?

Nooooo, but I did a couple of extra cuts to make it easier to get under the console

UPDATE: Finally got the Sparco seats in. Pics of the finished interior are now added to the page.

Looks good. You need some trim rings around the vents to match your center console gauges.

That's on the list of future additions, actually :) Unfortunately, the gauge bezels are painted silver, not polished chrome so it won't be a perfect match. But I think it'll still be nice either way.
