Yuppers. SCCA members will be able to get a spiffy orange cone decal to place on the inside of their windshield (driver's side). There will be a buddy system - have your buddy tech your car at the event, but there will not be paperwork.

Annual tech will be at the test & tune the day before the 1st event.

Is it a requirement that you run the test & tune to get the tech, or can you just show up and get teched? Is there any additional fee for the annual tech??

As neither requirement ($$$ or test & tune) were discussed, I'll go with no. Show up, get teched. Schlepp a few cones. Shoot some bull.

According to the region website, you can also get teched at the first or second event.

Annual Tech Anyone can have their vehicles Annual Teched at the Test 'n Tune(March 20), the first event(March 21), the Driving School(April 17), or the second event(April 18th). You will get an Orange Cone decal that will go the windshield of your vehicles, or if you have a mod or prepared car without, you can have it placed somewhere on or near the front of the vehicle. This will avoid long lines in tech and help us keep the events starting on time.

Is it one of the ones stuck under your car from the S2K event last week?

I did not drag any cones last week.Smacked a few, but ...
Actually, I was referring to the ones that came with the tiny RC car I got for Christmas. About 1" tall I can really run OVER it
