Thread: New addition to the family...

Default New addition to the family...

Check out what I picked up today

2000 Mazda MPV, 127k. Exterior is in very good condition except for some rock chips on the hood, and the interior is pretty much perfect. Runs well, no weird creaks or rattles, and everything works.

Got a pretty good deal on it.

And yes, I think it needs Kosei K-1's to match the Miata...

    And perhaps a 1.5" drop.

Thanks for the advice in the Hauler thread!

Is he single? None of the girls will think so if they see him driving a minivan.

I was surprised at how roomy it is especially after I pulled the seats out. My mom's Odyssey is bigger, but this one is perfect

I'm liking it so far. AC needs to be charged but that's about it.

If it had ground effects, a wing, and bug deflecter, it would look just like Mrs. Sharpie's van, the ex- Mrs. Titus mobile. What kind of deal did you get?

$3150. It's been a struggle to find something in that range... my budget really didn't go much higher because I'm in a savings crunch right now. This one was even black Not good for my RC planes, but I like it.

Wow, guess my van has depreciated a lot in 3 years. I paid 8200 in early 06 with 77k and now it's at 113k.

Yeah... that was how I felt when I sold it to you... I believe I paid 15k for it in 03. Then again, someone paid $29k for it '99, so I think they made out the worst.

I was surprised at the prices... $3k to $4k seems to be average for a 2000-2001. Most Odysseys run about twice that.

That's pretty much the only two vans I was interested in... I wanted a 4Runner, but they were a tad expensive for a decent one.
